Work closely with the phase and class teachers to support the effective running of the phase and grade.​
Help create and maintain a positive, structured and educational classroom atmosphere that supports teaching and learning.​
Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities under the guidance of the teacher.​
Support the management of learner behaviour in line with school policies and classroom routines.​
Take responsibility for the proper use, care and safekeeping of school equipment, resources and stock assigned to the class and teacher.​
Assist with the organisation, supervision and promotion of sport and cultural activities within the school.​
Support teachers and the school with sport, co-curricular and administrative duties as and when required.​
Provide general classroom and administrative support, including preparation of materials, basic record keeping and communication with learners where appropriate.​
Demonstrate a personal commitment to education and willingness to contribute actively to the values, ethos and co-curricular life of the school.
Key Skills / Requirements
Qualification in Early Childhood Development.
Relevant experience in a similar position.
Strong interest in teaching and learner support, with an understanding of classroom expectations and school routines.​
Strong administrative and basic IT skills.​
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with learners, parents and staff.​
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced school environment.​
Reliable, responsible and able to show initiative in supporting learning and school activities.
A clear criminal record.
Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school
